Sending never again unencrypted emails. With abylon CRYPTMAIL offer abylonsoft an user interface and an Outlook AddIn for email encrypting (incl. attachments). Only the owner of the private key (HYBRID-System) or the correct password (SYMM-System) can open and read this email. For any other person the content is locked.

Alternatively exist an email surface for clients with MAPI binding. (see also Links)

Tutorial

1. Email encryption (SYMM-System)
  1. Create an email message, add all receiver email addresses and attachments.
  2. Press button SYMM-Encryption.
  3. Input of the encryption password or Token.
  4. Press button Send.

The password used to be sent to the e-mail recipients. This should be in a separate e-mail or even better be done by phone!
2. Signing (SME for...) an email
  1. Create an email message, add all receiver email addresses and attachments.
  2. Press button Sign and encrypt (SME for...).
  3. Choose the public keys for the receivers in the abylon CERTMANAGER. This process will be finished with pressing button Select.
  4. Under certain conditions input of your certificate password for signing the email.
  5. Press button Send.
3. Decryption and / or verify an email
  1. Choose the decryption and / or verifying of an email in Outlook.
  2. Press button SYMM-decryption, HYBRID-decryption, Verifying or Encryption and Verifying (SME unpack).
  3. Under certain conditions input of your certificate password or USB-Token for decryption and / or verify an email.

Even without abylon CRYPTMAIL encrypted e-mails can be decrypt with the freeware abylon READER. Therefore only the attachment must be stored on the hard disk.
4. Encrypted storage for e-mails Important, received e-mails can also be encrypted in Outlook. The encryption protect against spying on the contents.

Encrypted e-mails can not scan for searching!

  1. Select the desired e-mails.
  2. Press the button SYMM-Enryption  or HYBRID-Encryption .
  3. Thereafter, additional information can be stored in the email, such as specific search terms.
  4. To decrypt and read the e-mail press the corresponding button SYMM-Decryption  or HYBRID-Decryption .
