Settings > Logon

The additional protection of the windows system boot.

According to program version individual properties can be missing or varying!

Window

1. Activate / Deactivate LOGON Activates or deactivates the abylon LOGON module, the addition protection of the windows system boot.
2. Refresh Update the settings.
3. If you remove the media: Possible options:
  • ...do nothing [Ctrl]: Nothing is done after removing your media.
  • ...Lock Computer [Shift]: After removing your media, the computer will be Locked
  • ...Logout Computer [Alt]: After removing your media, the computer will be Logout.
  • ...Shutdown Computer [Alt+Ctrl]: After removing your media, the computer will be Shutdown.

This setting is ignored, if the shown button (brackets) is pressed simultaneously during the removing of the media. For example the computer is logged out in any case, if the Alt-button is pressed.

4. Faster / Slower With this slider you can manage the speed during the abylon LOGON process. If you have problems move the slider to the right side (slower). In other cases you can speed up the process (faster).
5. List of accounts List of all created account with listing of name, domain, card-type, account-id, account file, and encryption algorithm.

Possible media types:

Certificate Smartcard / Token
EC / HBCI Moneycard (with Chip)
Memory-Card
External Memory-Device (e.g. USB-Stick)
CD / DVD
RFID-Radio-Card

6. Create Account Simulate the abylon LOGON process to create an account.

Please note, that the abylon LOGON with smartcards is only possible, if no software certificate installed in the system user certificate data base My. Please check this in the abylon CERTMANAGER with removed media.

7. Remove Account Delete the selected account from list 5.
8. Test Accounts Simulate the abylon LOGON process to test an account.

The simulation process corresponds not in all details with the real logon process. Therefore DON'T deactivate the Cancel (ESC) option during the first real testing. In this case, if you have problems, you can change to the normal logon mask.
