The software abylon BACKUP-TUBE offers remedy and saves the data in a mirror directory. The backup or the synchronization can be carried out manually or automatically, whereby only new and changed files are saved.
The data safe automatically encrypts all files in the CRYPT directory, without having to enter the password each time. To access the saved files, it is sufficient to enter the password once when opening the user interface. In contrast to container-based encryption solutions, only the opened files are temporarily decrypted. This increases security and enables multi-user access.
The software abylon EXIF-CLEANER shows clearly in a list all opened JPG-/JPEG images with the complete file information in EXIF format. To this meta information belong for example comments, camera model and serial number, copyrights, graphic program, thumbnails or GPS coordinates. The software removes these individual fingerprints with a single click. The cleaned images do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the creator and recording location.
Fast and optimized copying, now with the software abylon FILECOPY. Directly in Windows File Explorer, Copy, Synchronize and Search files are offered via the right mouse button menu. Before copying, the source and destination are compared and only if the file content has changed, the copy operation is performed. If the file name has changed, the file will only be renamed. Especially with large amounts of data these advantages speed up the creation of a shadow copy or backups.
The software abylon UAC-GRABBER extends the security concept for user account control (UAC) introduced since Vista. The program enables the administrative start of trustworthy programs without displaying the confirmation dialog every time. The UAC security dialog only appears if programs are started without the user's knowledge. An alternative start menu is also displayed under Windows 8 and 10.
The software abylon WLAN-LIVE-SCANNER searches for WiFi networks at regular intervals. The found wireless networks are displayed in a clear tree structure in real time. If desired, the computer can be connected to the Internet automatically or with a click via an open Wireless LAN hotspot. If an individual configuration of the computer is necessary, the software will do this automatically.
